We start with developmentally sound observations and assessments.  We take a deeper look into each child's strengths and needs.  Observations at home or school increase understanding of how your child interacts with their environment. Assessments such as the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and Assessment of Language and Learning Skills, Revised (ABLLS-R) identify developmental skills that are strengths as well as skills to build. Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) can be utilized to dive deeper into the relationships between a child's behavior and their environment, and to set them up for success. 

Numerous studies have shown benefits of Early Intervention for young children by harnessing their experience-dependent neuroplasticity. Our sessions joyfully align with your child's interests, fostering their communication skills, building confidence, nurturing positive relationships, and introducing new abilities. 

Home sessions are tailored to your child's unique strengths and needs and aim to teach skills through play. They often incorporate play, movement, regulatory strategies, idea generation, daily living skills, communication, self-reflection, and positive behavior support. 

School sessions support executive functioning skills and break big tasks into manageable chunks. We help children connect with peers, have rewarding recesses, and develop social skills. Regulation strategies and spaces are supported and created. We provide consultation to teachers to deepen their understanding of your child and to support individualized classroom strategies.   

​​Parent training and support are an integral part of our programs. We offer support and training around your child's unique developmental and behavioral profile.  Training around language acquisition, learning styles, executive functions, regulatory strategies, play dates, and positive behavior support aim to make parent training individualized and fun! 

Ongoing monitoring of progress and modification of goals help ensure we are meeting your child where they are. By regularly monitoring progress, we tailor programs to your child's individual needs and maximize their effectiveness.
